Philip already had an air source heat pump and was originally contacting us to enquire about upgrading the cavity wall and loft insulation in his home. As discussions developed, we understood that Philip wanted to reduce the operational demands on the heat pump, therefore, we designed a replacement radiator system using the Harnitek Fan Coil range. With the installation taking place in Spring 2022, the true benefits of the cooling output that Harnitek Fan Coils offers became a reality in what was one of the hottest summers ever in the UK. As the thermometer tipped 35 degrees in Cornwall, the fan coil radiators worked in reverse to deliver cool air into the living spaces of the house, therefore, protecting our customer and his family from extreme temperatures. With the property insulated to better standards and the Fan Coil radiators working efficiently, our customer has noticed a reduced power demand for his heat pump, helping to prolong its life whilst costing less to run.
